IAC has
more than five decades of experience in the design and manufacture of silencers
for jet engines, gas turbines, forced draft fans and air handling systems. The
result is an extensive range of standard silencer configurations incorporating
innovative design and manufacturing features with performance certified in
IAC’s Aero-Acoustic NVLAP-Certified Laboratory.
Performance
ratings for both Dynamic Insertion Loss and Aerodynamic Pressure Drop for all Power-Flow Silencer designs have been
certified in accordance with ASTM E477 and applicable sections of ISO 7235:1991
and British Standard 4718-1971 in our full-scale wind tunnel and corroborated
by independent laboratories.

IAC Power-Flow ACoustic FIlter (ACFI) – Tuned Dissipative Silencers
IAC ACFI
Silencers are designed to provide noise control for induced draft fans in power
plants, ventilation system in steel mills, coal mines, aluminum reduction
facilities, and other processes that involve gas streams which often contain
appreciable amounts of moist particulate which can quickly clog and render
conventional parallel baffle absorptive silencers ineffective.
Take advantage of IAC’s know-how…the most extensive in the noise
control industry. Special silencer configurations are available to satisfy the
most stringent criteria.
