| 11 June 2007 RB199 test facility exhaust stack replaced against the clock
The timeframe of the project was extremely demanding as was the need for minimal downtime once work commenced at the facility. IAC Aviation was able to meet these criteria by optimising the work share between its own UK manufacturing facilities and a well established Eastern European manufacturer who had previously demonstrated high-level engineering expertise within other parts of the IAC group of companies. IAC Aviation has recently successfully completed the replacement of the total exhaust stack of one of NATO Eurofighter and Tornado Management Agency’s RB199 engine test facilities. This NETMA facility is located at a RAF base in the UK.
